"Bridging the Divide"
2024 Public Art & Culture (PAC) Program students collaborated with Isaiah "Starbeing" Williams to paint the Mussey Avenue Bridge in Elyria, OH. This project stemmed from students' original artwork submitted in January as a part of our Black History Month showcase at the Elyria Arts Council.
Leading up to the mural painting, students participated in a Lorain County mural tour to learn the impact murals have in revitalizing community spaces. High school students from across Lorain County participated in the final project and each student received a stipend for their time and talent spent on the project.
