Senior Yard Cleanups
(June-August)
Leaders of Today’s Senior Yard Cleanups offers senior citizens residing in Elyria or Lorain with a free,
one-time yard cleanup. Services include general yard maintenance such as mowing the grass, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, and mulching. Ahead of cleaning, a visit will be completed by an adult volunteer to assess the yard and estimated labor. Once the home visit is complete, a designated
date is scheduled and together, volunteers unite to help revitalize the yard.
Senior Yard Cleanups support inter-generational connections between youth and senior citizens who may be shut in or disabled access. This program provides seniors free lawn care while empowering our youth to make a difference in their community. Recipients are selected from June to August
on a first come, first serve basis. To schedule a cleanup, please call
